2nd Day

Full day dedicated to the visit of Lisbon, the city of blue sky, mild weather and narrow medieval streets where, sometimes, happens to hear the melancholic notes of a guitar that waves a Fado. Morning departure along the elegant Avenida da Liberdade (Liberty Boulevard), and through the monumental Comércio Square (departing point of the typical ferryboats), to visit the Cathedral, that houses the Treasury and the Chapter House, where it is exposed the monstrance (a Portuguese goldsmith masterpiece of the year 1700, made with 17kg of gold and 4120 precious stones). Visit of the Santo António Church (where the saint was born) before climbing (about 1km walk) to visit S. Jorge Castle. Time permitting, it will be visited as well the Ulisses Tower, which houses the famous periscope - an optical system invented by Leonardo Da Vinci in the XVI century, which allows to observe the city (weather permitting) in 360º, real time. Time to admire the magnificent view over the city and the Tagus river, before promenading down along the alleyways and small squares of the characteristic Alfama quarters.
Lunch in restaurant.
In the afternoon, proceed to Parque das Nações to admire great contemporary architecture such as Vasco da Gama bridge (the longest in Europe), Gare do Oriente (central station projected by the renowned architect Santiago Calatrava), the Atlantico Pavilion, etc.. Guided tour of the Oceanário (giant aquarium), the surrounding ambients that display over 500 species of marine biodiversity from 4 oceans, and of the inside daily routines: what purpose serves a distribution frame heat?... or the ozone tower?... or bio acorn? At the end, return to the hotel.
In the evening, dinner in a local restaurant.
Return to hotel and overnight.
3rd Day

Full day in Lisbon. Morning dedicated to the participation in the "Gocar & Photo Challenge", an opportunity to continue your visit of Lisbon in an unique way, taking part in a fun artistic and cultural race. Participants will be divided into two teams that will carry out the activities alternately:
- One team departs in assisted GPS GoCars in exploration of the monumental Belém quarters: the Padrão (monument to the Discoveries), the Belém Palace (official residence of the President of the Republic), the Belém Cultural Centre (visit of the Berardo Collection, Museum of Contemporary Art and Modern). Worthy of note, and both World Heritage Sites under the aegis of UNESCO, are the Jerónimos Monastery, prime example of the singular portuguese architectural Manueline style, built by D. Manuel I to celebrate the return of the Portuguese navigator Vasco da Gama, after having discovered the sea route to India, and the S. Vicente de Belém Tower (the city’s symbol), work in Manueline style with Gothic-Byzantine influences, commissioned by D. Manuel I in the first in the beginning of the XVI century to guard the entrance to the port of Lisbon, on the Tagus River.
- The other team, equipped with cameras and map, departs to discover an unique Lisbon in its authenticity, searching for the perfect moment, the timeless frame, whether for fun or for serious cultural or historical reasons. A fantastic ride in the famous 28 (electric tram, line nº 28) and the tasting of a ginjinha (cherry liqueur) and a pastel de bacalhau (codfish balls) will complete the quest.
Return to the hotel and lunch.
In the afternoon, stop at S. Pedro de Alcântara Garden (magnificent view over S. Jorge Castle). Promenade through the typical quarters Bairro Alto and Chiado: coffee stop at the A Brasileira, coffee shop once often visited by the renowned portuguese writer Fernando Pessoa, immortalized with a statue by its entrance. Arrival at Rossio Square and time at disposal to explore the hidden narrow streets around the elegant avenues of the Pombaline downtown. Return to the hotel.
In the evening, dinner in restaurant by the Tagus River.

4th Day
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning at disposal in Lisbon for individual activities and shopping. Stroll on the elegant Avenida da Liberdade, where you can find international brands such as Emporium Armani, Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss, Carolina Herrera, Ermenegildo Zegna, Dolce & Gabbana, Escada, etc.. Continue through Chiado to take a peep to the luxury brands from Hermes to Cartier. Worthy of visit also shops such as the characteristic Luvaria Ulisses (gloves), the Ourivesaria Aliança (jewellery) and the Casa das Velas do Loreto (selling candles for over 200 years). Time free to shop at the El Corte Ingles Shopping Centre, one of the largest stores in Lisbon. At 12:00AM departure through Estoril (elegant cosmopolitan centre) and Cascais (ancient fishing village, famous for being the exile of the last italian king of Italy Umberto II, deceased there in 1946) to Guincho, a region of extraordinary beauty for its rugged coastline.

In the afternoon, proceed to Roca Cape, the roman Promontorium Magnum and the westernmost point in continental Europe. Continuation to Sintra, the summer residence of portuguese kings and certainly among the richest and most beautiful villages of the country, inspiration for poets such as Lord Byron, who named it the Garden of Eden. Visit of the old town that houses the National Palace. Worthy of note other romantic monuments around the historic centre such as the Pena Palace, the Moorish Castle, the Monserrate Palace, etc.. Return to the hotel.
In the evening, dinner in a local restaurant with Fado show.

In due time, transfer to Lisbon airport, assistance in the check-in procedures and departure.
